Most of all, I want to thank you for bringing two extraordinary women into our lives – Dorrett and Maxine. They truly became part of our family. They shared in holidays and birthdays, and devastating news at doctors appointments. We laughed and cried together… they learned a few things from Mom, such as how to make ‘old fashioned oatmeal,’ and they even got into trouble for watering the plants with tap water instead of rain water (just like my sister and I got into trouble as kids.) They also gave lots of TLC to Shandy who was not coping well with Mom’s illness. These women deserve outstanding recognition. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
